Mr. Ashok Kela.
Founder & Pioneer · Known as "Teak Man of India"
To connect discerning customers with the world's finest teak through expertise, integrity, and an uncompromising commitment to quality.
Mr. Ashok Kela founded the company in 1993, when very few Indian companies were exporting teak. Driven by a passion for timber, he travelled extensively across global markets to understand the lumber industry and the evolving needs of international buyers.
His pursuit of quality took him across Southeast Asia, where he sourced the finest naturally grown teak for the marine, yacht-building, furniture, and timber industries. Long before international sourcing became commonplace, he built trusted relationships across continents and earned a reputation for supplying teak of exceptional quality.
Mr. Kela was also one of the Founder Directors of MP Veneers, a Central India-based manufacturer of premium teak veneers exported worldwide. His expertise and contribution to the industry earned him the recognition of being known as "Teak Man of India" in international markets.
Today, with over three decades of experience, he continues to lead the company with the same pioneering vision, bringing the finest Indian teak to customers around the world.
